Chronicle

1928
─  On October 7, our founder Mr. Chen Ping established this company near Chiayi City Train Station. During the early years, the main products were agricultural used fluid equipments.
 
1941
─  Established machinery department, our company started to develop pumps uesd for manufacturing industry.
 
1962
─  On December 11, officially incorporated as San Tai Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and began producing centrifugal pumps.
1968
─  Relocated from the original address to Chunghsiao Road. The operation was expanded to focus on the production of industrial pumps.
1978
─  Established a cooperation relationship with Sinbishi Corporation of Japan.
1979
─  Recognized by Bureau of Commodity Inspection & Quarantin Taiwan as a class-A factory and manufacturer. Contracted by China Steel Corporation to supply pumps for phase 2 expansion construction project.
1983
─  Received Central Standard Bureau Taiwan highest quality mark.
1985
─  Through implementing localization national policy, our government introduced a US company, Ingersoll-Rand, to co-produce API pump with us.
─  San Tai was the first pump producer in Taiwan to establish a computer-aid pump performance testing station.
1987
─  Received Taiwan Power Company domestic promotion committed evaluation as class A factory. Supplied variety of pumps to Taiwan Power Company's plants.
1990
─  The joint evaluation team formed by organizations such as Construction Department and subdivisions, Housing and City Development Bureau, and Taiwan Water Company etc., recognized San Tai having the ability to manufacture 2000 horsepower and 2000mm diameter pumps.
1995
─  Received ISO 9002 certificate from the Bureau of Commodity Inspection & Quarantine Ministry of Economic Affair Taiwan.
1998
─  Completed the construction of new factory. Constructed the largest water pump manufacturing base and testing system with fully automatic standardized measurement system in the country. Manufactured 4 sets of 2000HP vertical pumps for Kaoping Creek Impounding Dam.
─  Manufactured centrifugal pumps for Taiwan Power Company Fourth Nuclear Power Plant.
2000
─  Moved from Chunghsiao road location to present location in Minghsiung Industrial Park. The new factory occupies 32,000 square meters.
─  Received ISO 9001 certificate from the Bureau of Commodity Inspection & Quarantine Ministry of Economic Affair Taiwan.
2003
─  Applied and received ISO 9001 quality assurance system conversion version as ISO 2000 certified company.
─  Completed the manufacturing of 5 largest domestic axial flow pumps (1200mm, 4000HP) for Taiwan Water Company at Kaoping Creek Impounding Dam Water Collection Station.
2005
─  Completed 12 sets of circulation water pumps for Taiwan Power Company Datang combine cycle power plant. (Diameter: 2200mm. Water supply flow rate: 10 CMS/unit. Horsepower: 4000HP/20P)
2006
─  On August 15, established San Tai Chiayi casting foundry factory.
2008
─  Received the 9th Public Construction Golden Quality Award in design from the Public Construction Commission Executive Branch.
2009
─  Awarded the contract for Taipei Shizitou Sewage Pumping Station vertical mixed-flow volute pump, 5 units.
2010
─  Our pump testing laboratory received the Certificate of Accreditation from Taiwan Accreditation Foundation (TAF).
2011
─  Awarded the contract for Luchou, Yamugang Pumping Station flood control pump, 17 units.
2012
─  Awarded the contract for Powertec Energy Corp. 1700 HP vertical double suction pump, 5 units.
2013
─  Received "Taiwan-made MIT Smile Product Certification System" from the Ministry of Economic Affairs, R.O.C.
2014
─  Awarded the contract for Taipei City Jingmei Pumping Station flood control pump, 4 units.
─  Awarded the contract for Miaoli County Tongxiao Power Plant Combined Cycle Project - Circulation Water Pump installation engineering.
2015
─  Awarded the contract for Yunlin County Nanzi Pumping Station flood control pump, 3 units.
─  Awarded the contract for New Taipei City Zhongan-West Pumping Station flood control pump, 5 units.
2016
─  On January, awarded the contract for Taipei City Lin-sen Pumping Station and Jin-zhou Pumping Station update project flood control pump, 6 units.
─  On August, received the 2016 Years Taipei City Distinguished Public Construction Award.
─  On December, received the ISO 9001 certificate 2015 version.
2018
─  Awarded the contract for New Taipei City Pumping Station Update Project flood control pump, 12 units.
─  On August, received the 2018 Years Taipei City Distinguished Public Construction Award.
2020
─  On January, San Tai was contracted to produce 6 units of axial flow pump for Kaohsiung Marine Technology Industry Innovation Area.
─  On July, President Tsai Ing-Wen visited San Tai to recognize our chairman, Mr. Chen Min-Cheng, great contribution to Taiwan public constructions in his development and manufacturing of various industrial pumps.
2021
─  Awarded the contract for Hsinta Power Plant Combined Cycle Renewal Project-Circulation Water Pump installation engineering.
2022
─  Awarded the contract for Taichung Power Plant Combined Cycle Project-Circulation Water Pump installation engineering.
─  Awarded the contract for New Taipei City Ta Liao Keng Pumping Station flood control pump, 5 units.
2023
─  The pumps comply with the Energy Management Act's Minimum Energy Performance Standard (MEPS) of the Bureau of Energy, Ministry of Economic Affairs.
2024
─  Awarded the contract for Miaoli County Tongxiao Power Plant renew project phase 2- Circulation Water Pump installation engineering.
